Taken in 2004..the acer glade was really very red that year. Some adjustment (levels) for a slightly overexposed shot.

This is prbably one of my favourites in the "mosaic" collection so far, the amazing intense red and piercing black branches make an extremely successful shot combined with splashes of cooling yellow foliage shining through, just brilliant Pam, this is very well done :thumbsup: =) :+fav:

while im noy particularly fond of adjusting the levels to this extent, it is a colorful photo. im curious as to how it would look with a normal levels adjustment (so it looks more realistic.)

this is not much of a level adjustment and is quite realistic..its is exactly how it looked on the day..:-) If you look at the deviation Ace Acers, you will see how red the tree is and also "Japanese Mosaic" will show you how yellow the yellows are..in this picture you can see how realistic the green is too..
