A beach scene on one of the islands off the mainland of Phuket, Thailand. This is a scan of a slide, taken in 1995 with a Minolta SLR using Fuji Film. Most of the islands in this area are mangrove swamps and accessible only at low tide, using inflatable canoes and by keeping low, one can row through the caves -usually flooded at high tide- into the centre of the "doughnut".
