This year's autumn at Westonbirt. It is amazing how the same trees have a different hue in different years. These ones were a lot redder last year. This year they have a stronger orangey hue. The tree in "Japanese Mosaic" was also orange rather than yellow.

WOW what a stunning piece!! The sheer vibrant brilliance of those leaves is enough, but the great contrast with the dark trunks, and the splash of green close the deal. Excellent work! :D

Incredible color. And I really enjoy the comp here with the reds leading to the green. The middle tree red's look blownout and loss of detail. If you can recover that awesome. Well done.

not sure that I can, the light was very low so I don't think the detail will be there -glad you like it though

To the contrary, blown out means too bright, not too dark. It seems maybe from oversaturating that there has been detail lost in the reds in the middle tree. Lots of ways to fix this...one which being to selectively select that tone and do some curves/levels adjustments.

I know it means too bright...and your suggestion is helpful, except I just do not have the time...The shot was taken on 50 ISO in very low light conditions. The levels have been reduced already, so bar doing the selecting bit, I am afraid this is the best I can do....
