Artist's Comments

Pretty obvious title, but "it does what it says on the tin"...This is actually a scan of a colour negative taken on my old minolta slr in 1993. The colour shot is great, but I decided to take the colour out (will probably submit the colour at some point too) and I am happy with the black and white result. Apologies for cutting the tail off but the zebra kept on swishing flies away :D

ps taken in the Kruger National Park in South Africa.

Another excellent shot - love the contrast and the depth of field to just blur the foreground ever so slightly.

obviously taken with a better camera than the previous shot!! lovely piece pam, and handy that zebras lend themselves nicely to balck and white shots!! :thumbsup:
